The Parent & Toddler Spanish Classes incorporates visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic learning modalities that encourage high levels of engagement for toddlers. The value of language is doubled when we expose children to a second language. It develops fluency, cognitive thinking and socialization, helping to prepare the child for preschool, kindergarten and beyond.
The Summer Reading & Math Fluency Program is offered in both English & Spanish. The program is designed to build students automaticity in both reading and mathematics.
In the area of reading, students will read text accurately, quickly and with expression. Reading fluency is important because it is the bridge between word recognition and comprehension.
In the area of mathematics, students will learn efficient and accurate methods for computing.
The program is designed to improve fluency in reading and mathematics. Students will learn and practice the skills required to achieve fluent independent reading and mathematical computation.
